Mindset-Habits.com is a blog written by me, Jeff Thomas, and is a collection of articles (and over time, videos and audio as well) about life, personal change and happiness.
I have researched and studied psychology and have been a part of the self-help movement for longer than I care to remember, and over that time there have been many interesting discoveries by some brilliant people. This blog is my way of making sense of it all and attempt to put it in an easy to understand and useful way that we can all benefit from and make use of.
I have a strong interest in learning how to manage and eliminate stress, anxiety, and social phobias in our lives, as well as how we can change our current thinking and behavior patterns and direct it in the manner we want to affect personal change. It seems that all of us struggle with certain aspects of our lives, some more so than others, but it doesn’t mean we are destined to remain the same person as who we are now. We are evolving each and every day, month, and year, and if we can use the power of our minds correctly then I believe there is nothing we cannot do to steer that evolution in the direction we so desire, whatever that may be for you.
It’s a big ask I know. If you’ve spent any time at all experimenting with personal change then you will know how difficult it is. It’s almost as if we are programmed, hard wired if you like, to be, act, and react a certain way. Making change “stick” is challenging. That, however, is the challenge I have set for this site – finding ways that will make a difference in your life once and for all.
In here you’ll find articles based on science, psychology, and medicine, but there will also be journey’s into astrology, new age, self-help, meditation, religion, plus much more. It’s an unusual mix I know, but I’ve been interested in the meaning of life, who we are, and how to change your thinking for many years so the search has seen no boundaries. Please keep an open mind in your journey too.
I hope you will find something interesting and useful here, and please do leave a comment or click the “like” button so I know that someone is out there appreciating what I’m doing.
